The five-year contract allows federal customers to efficiently purchase environmental consulting services from RRS. As a GSA Schedule 899 vendor, RRS can provide government agencies with services such as waste management and organics planning, recycling feasibility studies, biomass supply planning, sustainability assessments, risk analysis, data collection, GIS routing and infrastructure mapping, as well as outreach, education and communications.

The GSA establishes long-term government-wide contracts with commercial companies. As a pre-approved vendor, RRS extends numerous benefits, including cost-effectiveness, to various agencies and branches of the federal government, as well as state and local governments through applicable programs. In addition, RRS’ status as a small business enables the federal government and prime contractors to meet socioeconomic goals.

“It is a proud moment for our small business to be a contributor to the environmental success of our government,” stated Jim Frey, CEO of RRS. “Through the GSA schedule program, RRS is able to streamline the procurement process and help government agencies concentrate on the task at hand – impacting environmental challenges.”
