Connecticut Recycling Economic Information Study Released
Findings have been released from the RecycleCT report conducted by RRS in 2020, which studied the economic impacts of residential recycling in Connecticut. This comprehensive analysis identified the number of jobs, labor income, and total economic output generated by the residential recycling sector. The study revealed that residential recycling plays a crucial role in supporting the state’s economy, contributing $1.16 billion in total economic output and supporting 4,900 jobs.
