RRS Discusses Recovery Initiatives at MRC

April 29, 2014, Ann Arbor, Michigan – Sustainability and recycling consulting firm, RRS, proudly announces two of its experts will present at the 2014 Michigan Recycling Coalition annual conference in Ypsilanti, Michigan, April 29-May 1.

Marty Seaman, RRS Principal and Executive Vice President, will provide industry examples of recovery initiatives developed by private and public collaborations. He will discuss the comprehensive recovery policy and goals of forward-looking communities, as well as recycling as a part of advanced manufacturing. Seaman will present during the plenary session “The World of Economic Opportunities”, Thursday, May 1, 2:00p-3:00p.

Nicole Chardoul, RRS Principal and Vice President, will provide an understanding of how local food policy can influence food waste and packaging decisions within a community. In addition, she will describe the use of mapping tools for infrastructure and resource availability and gap identification. Chardoul will speak during the “Organics Part 2: Processing Technologies & Reduction Policies” session, Thursday, May 1, 10:30a-12:00p

In addition, RRS team members Anna Lynott and Steve Montle will be in attendance, making connections on the behalf of the Carton Council. Lynott and Montle will be looking to open carton recovery opportunities for more communities and companies across the Great Lakes state.
