Multi-Disciplinary Leaders Advance Client Work, Internal Systems and Market Presence
February 13, 2024, ANN ARBOR, Mich. –Resource Recycling Systems (RRS) is pleased to announce nine new leaders to its ownership team: Marisa Adler, Erin Grimm, Holly Halliwill, Bryce Hesterman, Keira Higgins, Kate Maguire, Jeff Medlen, Steve Montle, and Elisa Seltzer. RRS sees value in diversifying ownership to help support and guide RRS’s future endeavors, with each of these new owners supporting the company’s continued growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality consulting services to clients.
The RRS Board of Directors has formalized a Share Purchase Program to provide a structure for opportunities to acquire shares. The new shareholders were selected based on their leadership qualities, performance outcomes, years of service, and career trajectory. Combined, they have served RRS clients for more than 59 years, embodying the company’s mission and contributing to its positive impact on clients and the industry at large.

The new shareholders have supported RRS’s continued growth through serving clients, advancing internal systems, and effectively leading staff forward. Meet the new shareholders and their key contributions:
Marisa Adler
Based in New Rochelle, NY, Marisa has been with RRS since 2016 and serves as senior consultant and leads RRS’s textile recovery practice. As a leader of the Corporate Sustainability Hub and member of the business development team, she provides mentorship to team members and supports company growth.

Erin Grimm
Located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Erin has been contributing to RRS since 2015, bringing expertise in creative strategy, graphic design, web design, and brand identity. She applies her design skills to elevate RRS’s corporate brand identity and client communication and branding needs

Holly Halliwill
With RRS since 2019 and based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Holly is a consulting engineer for the Markets and Infrastructure team. She has supported key aspects of fieldwork including developing and testing and safety protocols.

Bryce Hesterman
Bryce is a senior consultant in the Markets and Infrastructure team and based in Portland, Oregon. He joined RRS in 2018 and leads RRS work in the pacific northwest. He supports the continued growth and success of NextCycle and also played a central role in establishing the company’s DEI Committee.

Keira Higgins
Keira is based in Chelsea, Michigan, and has been with RRS since 2020. She has played a key role in the facilitation and successes of NextCycle Michigan. She also supported the establishment of RRS’s DEI Committee.

Kate Maguire
Based in Urbana, Illinois, Kate has been with RRS since 2016 and serves as a consultant for the Data Core team. She is committed to high-quality analysis, and takes the initiative to distill data, learnings and best practices to share with the company to advance client work.

Jeff Medlen
Located in Canton, Michigan, Jeff serves as Technology Administrator for RRS. He has played a key role in the rollout and adoption of information systems, including Salesforce and Microsoft 365, that allow us to collaborate more efficiently and gain better insights into our business. He supports CRM administration, database development, and software configuration.

Elisa Seltzer
Based in Levering, Michigan, Elisa has been with RRS since 2019. A Sustainable Communities team leader, she assists communities in developing and improving recycling and composting programs, cultivating public-private partnerships, and strategically connecting the right resources. She has played a key role in driving NextCycle Michigan’s growth and success.
