Biography

Keira joined RRS as an analyst in 2020. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering providing a technical perspective to a passion for sustainability, Keira approaches projects with ambition, creativity, and a holistic perspective. Keira planned the RIT Waste Awareness Campaign, the first campus-wide waste audit at her alma matter and was recognized for sustainability efforts by the organization Engineers for a Sustainable World, among others. Keira’s experience on a farm working in health and safety, along with engineering experience helps her to be well rounded and prepared to tackle a variety of projects.

Recent Team Projects

  • Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE): Provides research, project organizational support, and project tracking for this statewide initiative to catalyze materials management and circular economy through partnership and innovation via NextCycle Michigan.
  • Jefferson-Belmont Solid Waste Authority, OH: Conducted industrial, commercial and recycling business surveys, combined with Ohio EPA data to support the annual district reporting.
  • Non-profit Sustainable Development Business Association: Developed a gap analysis and supported the implementation of a collaborative statewide business-to-business material exchange program.
